Struggling with Unexplained Women’s Health Issues?

Your mouth might hold the answers. Let’s find out if oral bacteria could be affecting your hormones, fertility, or menopause journey.

After interviewing eight different dentists, I decided it was in my best interest to fly from Idaho to see Dr. Katie Lee for my entire implant replacement process—from implant removal all the way through placement of the final crown. It was absolutely the right decision.

Dr. Lee utilizes top-of-the-line technology and approaches every step with exceptional precision and attention to detail. The procedure was far less painful than I anticipated, and my healing process was smooth and uneventful with excellent results.

One of the things that impressed me most was her comprehensive, holistic approach to patient care. Based on imaging and her evaluation, she recommended I be tested for sleep apnea. I followed through and discovered I had significant sleep apnea that otherwise may have gone undiagnosed. Dr. Lee recommended NightLase therapy, which significantly improved my symptoms and quality of sleep.

Equally impressive was her staff. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, caring, and responsive throughout the entire three-part process. They also helped navigate the insurance process, and I was pleasantly surprised that my insurance covered a portion of the treatment.

If you’re looking for a holistic dentist who combines advanced technology, clinical expertise, and outstanding patient care, I highly recommend Dr. Katie Lee and her team. Traveling from out of state was well worth it.

It is such a good feeling to know that I’m getting healthier day by day working with Dr. Lee.

Happy Patient

I have learned so much from this process about how oral health is so closely linked to your overall physical health, including gut health, fertility and sleep habits. Since we live in Canada and the shipping was not always easy, Dr. Lee did everything within her power to make this process more smooth and affordable. I feel so grateful that we have met Dr. Lee and have her as our consulting dentist. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an upgraded oral health care.”

K. JANG

Before I met Dr. Lee, I suffered from an assortment of unexplainable symptoms that doctors could not alleviate or diagnose. I felt frustrated, confused, and hopeless that I was going to feel like this as I aged. Dr. Lee explained the common cause of most ailments is inflammation. After testing my saliva and looking for dental infections, we found the root cause of my issues was in my mouth. Dr. Lee helped create a plan for me that was manageable and tracked my results. I am happy to say that I finally feel like my prior, healthy self

A. Garcia

I have struggled with women’s issues for years. I have been diagnosed and treated for painful cycles and endometriosis and thus felt little hope of having a baby. I decided, after years of failed treatments, to try to heal my body naturally. I found Dr. Lee and she discovered I had a bacterial infection in my mouth that was contributing to my female issues. I am relieved to be rid of that chronic infection and my endometriosis symptoms have resolved. I am hopeful my future includes expanding my family

T. Davis

Dr. Lee is a wealth of knowledge about dental and overall health. If she does not know the answer, she will search for someone who does. She really cares about her patients and about getting to the root cause of their issues so that they can live their healthiest lives

R. Wilson

I struggled with grinding my teeth for years. I had severe headaches, jaw pain, and would frequently crack my teeth. I was worried I was going to end up in dentures and pain the rest of my life. Dr. Lee discovered that the root cause of my issues was a sleep and airway issue and treated me appropriately. I no longer have pain or crack my teeth and my sleep has drastically improved. Thanks Dr. Lee!

T. Farris

Dr. Lee is the best dentist! She stays on the forefront of dentistry and offers the safest and most effective and modern treatments. She is gentle, fast, and really cares about the well-being of her patients” I have been flying in to see her from out of state for years and will always be her patient!

TOP 5 Frequently Asked Questions about Collective Health Society

What is your approach to gut health and digestion, and why is it linked to oral health?

The gut is central to nutrient absorption, immune balance, and systemic inflammation. If your gut is out of balance (dysbiosis, permeability, poor digestion), it can drive inflammation, hormonal issues, or immune stress — which in turn can influence oral health (e.g. gum inflammation, slow healing). We evaluate digestive function, diet, microbiome, and then use nutrition, lifestyle changes, and healing protocols (e.g. gut repair supplements, food elimination) to support both gut and oral wellness together.

Does insurance cover holistic/biological dental care?

In most cases, insurance covers holistic dentistry the same way it covers conventional dentistry, since many of the procedures are the same (exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, etc.). Some specialized tests or therapies may not be covered, but your dental team can help you navigate coverage and financing options. For new patient visits, insurance typically covers the comprehensive evaluation, including 2D X-rays if yours need updating.

What types of patients benefit most from holistic dentistry?

Anyone can benefit, but patients with autoimmune conditions, chemical sensitivities, or those seeking a more natural and preventive approach to health often find holistic dentistry especially valuable.

Do holistic dentists still do regular dental procedures?

Yes. Holistic dentists still perform cleanings, fillings, crowns, and other standard dental treatments. The main difference is the philosophy and choice of materials—biocompatible and non-toxic options are prioritized whenever possible.

What does functional/integrative dentist mean, and how is it different from a regular dentist?

Integrative oral health + wellness” means treating the mouth in connection with the rest of the body. Instead of just cleaning your teeth or fixing cavities, the approach looks at how your oral health affects gut, hormones, inflammation, immune system, and overall vitality. At Collective Health Society, we use lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, detox, and targeted healing strategies alongside dental care, so improvements in one area support the whole system.
